- Do I need QTS to work through Actionus?
- QTS is required for qualified teacher roles in maintained schools. Cover supervisor, teaching assistant, SEN support and pastoral roles do not require QTS.
- How far in advance are supply bookings made?
- Day to day cover is often confirmed the evening before or early the same morning. Long term placements are usually booked several weeks ahead of a half term or term start.
- What safeguarding checks are needed?
- An enhanced DBS with the children's barred list check, ideally on the update service, alongside in date safeguarding training and a fully referenced employment history.
