- Do I need to be UK registered to apply?
- For clinical roles, yes. You need active registration with the relevant regulator (NMC, HCPC, GMC, GPhC), or the equivalent Irish body for roles in Ireland. Non-clinical roles do not require professional registration.
- How quickly can I start a locum assignment?
- If your compliance pack is already complete and in date, cover can often be booked within days. If clearance is outstanding, the start date follows DBS, references and occupational health turnaround.
