Registered Nurse

A Registered Nurse is required for a fixed-term contract at a private school in Enniskerry. This full-time role involves working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, providing clinical support to students aged 12 to 15. The position offers a supportive working environment with training provided in advance of the January 2027 start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care to female students within a boarding school setting
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all student consultations
• Work independently to manage the school health centre during operational hours
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding health matters
• Support the wellbeing of teenagers in an international educational environment
• Participate in necessary training sessions scheduled for November 2026

What you'll need

• Current NMBI registration is essential for this nursing post
• Proven clinical skills and the ability to make autonomous decisions
• Strong communication skills for interacting with young people and staff
• Enhanced DBS clearance or equivalent Irish police vetting
• Experience working with children or teenagers is preferred but not essential
• Reliability and a friendly approach to student healthcare
• NMC registration
