Speech and Language Therapist

A Speech and Language Therapist is required for a locum contract in and around the Redhill area. This role is based within a school setting, providing specialist support to students with communication needs. You will work closely with educational staff to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs within the school environment.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment programmes for pupils.
• Provide advice and training to teaching staff and parents to support student progress.
• Monitor and review the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in line with professional standards.

What you'll need

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Experience working with children in an educational or school setting.
• Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service.
