Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to support schools across the Kingston area on a contract basis. This role involves providing essential clinical support to pupils within educational settings to improve communication outcomes. You will work closely with school staff and parents to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language therapy assessments to students across various school sites
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to support pupils' communication needs
• Liaise with teachers and teaching assistants to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Provide advice and training to school staff on supporting children with speech and language difficulties
• Maintain accurate clinical records and produce detailed progress reports for each student
• Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure a holistic approach to therapy and support

What you'll need

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists
• Experience working with children and young people within an educational setting
• Enhanced DBS clearance for working in a regulated environment
• Ability to travel between different school locations within Kingston
