Speech and Language Therapist

Speech and Language Therapist required for a full-time locum position in Kingston upon Thames working across school settings. This long-term contract is expected to last for over 12 months and involves supporting students with diverse communication needs. The role offers an immediate start for a qualified professional looking to work in person within South West London schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy assessments to students within school environments
• Develop and implement individualised SLT treatment plans tailored to each pupil
• Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support student communication goals
• Monitor and record student progress to ensure effective clinical outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with professional standards

What you'll need

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
• Enhanced DBS clearance for working with children
• Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
