The role
We are seeking a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to manage a private caseload in London on a part-time, one day per week basis. This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously while specialising in pronunciation and autism as you build a larger professional caseload.
Responsibilities
- Manage a private paediatric caseload with a focus on pronunciation and speech sound disorders.
- Assess and provide therapeutic interventions for children on the autism spectrum.
- Work autonomously to develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and monitor progress for each child.
- Collaborate with families to provide guidance and support for home-based strategies.
- Organise and manage clinical sessions effectively to build a larger caseload over time.
What you'll need
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Evidence of membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
- Enhanced DBS clearance for working with children.
- Significant experience working with paediatric caseloads in a clinical setting.
- Specialist knowledge in speech pronunciation and autism spectrum conditions.
- Ability to work independently as a lone practitioner.
