Clinical Psychologist

Clinical Psychologist required for a flexible contract supporting a children's neurodevelopmental assessment service across the Midlands. The role involves conducting ADHD and Autism diagnostic assessments for children and young people through a combination of remote and onsite working. This is an ad hoc position with assessment volumes expected to grow as the service expands.

Responsibilities

• Complete ADHD and Autism diagnostic assessments for children and young people
• Undertake clinical interviews, developmental histories, and diagnostic assessment activity
• Contribute to multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments and clinical report writing
• Deliver remote assessment activity and attend face-to-face sessions as required
• Work collaboratively with other clinicians within the established assessment pathway
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation for all assessment activity

What you'll need

• HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
• Enhanced DBS clearance for working with children
• Proven experience performing ADHD or Autism diagnostic assessments
• Significant experience working with children and young people
• Strong clinical assessment and report writing skills
• Ability to work autonomously on an ad hoc and flexible basis
