Band 6 Community Physiotherapist

Band 6 Community Physiotherapist required for a Locum engagement starting immediately. This post involves delivering expert physical therapy within domestic environments and local hubs to support patient recovery. You will join a dedicated team focused on preventing hospital admissions and facilitating safe discharges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments for individuals in residential settings
• Design and execute rehabilitative plans tailored to prevent falls and improve mobility
• Oversee a diverse clinical caseload involving patients with multifaceted health needs
• Partner with multidisciplinary colleagues to coordinate swift emergency interventions
• Ensure all clinical documentation is updated accurately to maintain high care standards
• Navigate between various sites to provide timely support to vulnerable service users

What you'll need

• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Recognised degree or postgraduate qualification in Physiotherapy
• Valid UK driving licence and availability of a personal vehicle
• Proven background in intermediate care or rapid response environments
• Experience in a UK setting preferred
• Possession of a current Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one
• Availability to fulfill a three-month temporary commitment
