Advanced MSK Physiotherapist

This contract role for an Advanced MSK Physiotherapist is based in Essex, offering an immediate start for a clinician with specialist skills in injection therapy. The successful candidate will work within a musculoskeletal service, managing complex cases and providing clinical expertise to patients with various physical conditions. This position is suitable for a First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) looking for a dedicated clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced musculoskeletal (MSK) assessments to patients with complex needs.
• Provide corticosteroid and steroid injection therapy as part of patient treatment plans.
• Act as a First Contact Physiotherapist (FCP) to triage and manage patient pathways effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of clinical care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with professional standards.
• Offer specialist advice and support to junior physiotherapy staff within the service.

What you'll need

• Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Proven experience in advanced musculoskeletal (MSK) clinical practice.
• Formal qualification and competency in injection therapy.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
• Ability to work autonomously as an advanced practitioner.
• Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
