Market Data and Trade Systems Analyst

This Market Data and Trade Systems Analyst role is a 6 month full-time contract based in London, offering a hybrid working pattern within the financial services sector. You will be responsible for supporting, administering, and enhancing critical market data platforms and trading systems across the EMEA region for a leading bank.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for the support and maintenance of Market Data Systems and Trading Applications.
• Provide end-to-end troubleshooting across infrastructure, platforms, and applications to ensure high service availability.
• Manage server and application upgrades whilst ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle including testing, release management, and deployment activities.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve system issues and implement enhancements.
• Support IT Security and Audit teams with compliance queries and remediation activities for trading platforms.

What you'll need

• Extensive experience with market data platforms including LSEG, Bloomberg, and ICAP/EBS.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot trading applications, Citrix environments, and network connectivity issues.
• Deep understanding of Front Office priorities and the operational requirements of trading environments.
• Experience using SCCM and remote access tools for system administration and deployment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to business users.
• Standard UK Right to Work documentation and ability to pass a financial services background check.
