ABA Tutor

This ABA Tutor role in Bedford offers a contract position delivering specialised 1:1 or small-group learning and behaviour support plans for autistic children and young people. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA or consultant to implement positive reinforcement strategies and teach vital functional skills to students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 or small-group learning sessions and behaviour support plans.
• Implement positive reinforcement strategies as directed by the consultant.
• Track and record student data accurately to monitor progress.
• Teach communication, life, and functional skills to children and young people.
• Work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
• Support autistic students in developing independence and social skills.

What you'll need

• Experience working with autistic children or young people.
• Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis principles and techniques.
• Ability to collect data and follow complex support plans.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students and supervisors.
• Enhanced DBS clearance on the Update Service.
